NewSprings

A local church here has gotten huge and spreading out all over South Carolina. They are a community, service minded church, but I do not see much preached on salvation through Jesus Christ , and especially the Cross. They focus on "small groups". Here is an expert on becoming a member :

Members have rights, but owners have responsibilities. At NewSpring church, we want owners not "members". Still interested? Then join us at an ownership class. This class explains the purpose and mission of NewSpring Church, answers any of your questions, and enables you to meet and talk with church owners and staff. Afterwards, you have the opportunity to join the church.

For your convenience, classes are offered each month. Ownership Class is designed for 6th graders/12 year-olds and older. Sign-up at Guest Services on Sunday or by using one of the links below. This class is a requirement for NewSpring Church ownership.

The pastor has no problem saying crap at church , or playing heavy metal covers such as ac/dc.

It seems to me around here everyone goes there and they all "love" it, there just is no real conviction there or maturity.
